Today we are pleased to announce that Aerocam Imaging and Clearshot have joined in force to capture a larger target audience.  Clearshot, who are based in Poland, also offer high quality aerial film and photography utilising the same technologies as Aerocam Imaging.

The collaboration will allow us to target a more widespread marketplace, allowing us to take on contracts outside of our own juristictions.

Adding to our Nikon DSLR camera we now have a Canon G10. The G10 is a lighter camera which can offer 14.7 megapixels and produces very high quality images. This has also enabled us to utilise a remote zoom function which can be extemely handy for inspections. So far the images that this lightweight point and shoot camera have provided are fantastic.

Now Aerocam Imaging have included a Garmin eTrex H GPS handheld unit for surveys so clients can be assured of what location we are shooting from. The advantages of this are for in depth surveys where either a GPS or OS Grid reference would be key for our reports.  Now the client can be assured that we have captured the right location or even update there own data with the relevant information.  This takes away any confusion of multiple location shots.

Already we are putting to use the GPS information. For our mobile phone mast contracts we give our client the exact os grid reference of where the mast is situated and continue to shoot a 360 panormic starting from a North view.

Aerocam Imaging covered the 2009 Great Southern Run that was held on Sunday in Portsmouth. Around 21,000 runners gathered for a 10 mile run in the aid of multiple charities.  The day was a great success although high winds prevailed all day.  We took over 400 images at the start of the race as the runners left in groups.  If participants are wanting to find their image a DVD of all the pictures is available for £10 and should contact us on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
